House of Shila. A dress and tactile comfort

Since 2023, Christiana has been collaborating with House of Shila, as well as its sister hotels Shila Athens and Mona Athens, designing naturally dyed silk sleeping masks and herbal eye masks for their hotel rooms and the House of Shila online shop. The partnership reflects a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and sensory experiences rooted in natural materials.

Our collaboration also extended to a special garment project. The Mona Dress, a piece created by Lefko in collaboration with House of Shila, is part of the Mona collection inspired by the spirit and individuality of Mona. The dress is handcrafted in Athens from white crêpe-de-chine silk sourced from Soufli, a historic centre of Europe’s silk production. Its strappy wrap design allows the wearer to personalise the fit, balancing elegance, comfort, and sensuality.

For a limited edition of the Mona collection, Christiana was invited to naturally dye selected dresses, giving each piece a unique colour and texture through plant dyes. These hand-dyed versions transform the already distinctive silk dress into one-of-a-kind garments, celebrating the meeting of natural dyeing, Greek silk heritage, and contemporary design.

Lavander Herbal Eye Masks

The silk sleeping masks are handcrafted and naturally dyed, making each piece completely unique. Made with care and respect for the environment, they offer both comfort and softness, creating a restful sleep ritual for guests who value quality and sustainability.

The Lavender Herbal Eye Masks are a serene variation of the classic sleeping mask. Crafted from silk and infused with lavender herbs placed around the eye area, they offer a gentle aromatic experience that encourages relaxation and calm. Designed as a moment of pause, they combine tactile comfort with the soothing qualities of natural botanicals.
