The silk is undyed and sourced from Soufli, Greece. The pillowcase was naturally dyed by Christiana using sticklac. The sleep mask was bundle dyed by Christiana using logwood bark, cutch bark, sticklac and hibiscus flowers.
Silk’s smooth surface helps reduce friction on skin and hair, offering a soft and comfortable sleep experience.
Both pieces are machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
