Splatter Batik & Bundle Dyed Silk & Cotton Cushion Cover

€120.00
Sold Out

A one-of-a-kind cushion cover combining multiple natural dye techniques and botanical colours.

The front is made from undyed silk woven in Soufli, Greece, batiked and naturally dyed with indigo by Christiana. The back features cotton fabric that has been bundle dyed with plant materials by Christiana, creating subtle botanical textures and organic colour variations.

Logwood bark, mallow rose petals, and walnut leaves were used to create layered botanical prints that emerge naturally through the steaming process. Each cushion carries the unpredictability and beauty of natural dyeing, making every piece unique.

The cushion is machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio and finished with an envelope closure for a clean, minimal design.
Size: Approximately 60 × 50 cm

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
