"Violetta" Botanical Bundle Dyed Silk Pillowcase
This naturally dyed silk pillowcase is created using the bundle dye technique, where plant and natural dye materials are placed directly onto the silk to create organic patterns and layered colours.
The silk is undyed and sourced from Soufli, Greece. The pillowcase was bundle dyed by Christiana using cochineal, hibiscus petals and logwood bark, producing vibrant reds, pinks and soft purple tones.
Silk is naturally smooth and gentle on skin and hair, reducing friction while offering a soft and luxurious sleeping experience.
The pillowcase is machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio.
• Envelope closure so the pillow remains hidden
• Size: approximately 50 × 70 cm
Because natural dyes come directly from plants and natural materials, each pillowcase is completely unique.

Bundle Dyeing
Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!
Natural Dyeing
Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
