Purple Bundle Cotton Kaftan (One Size)

€180.00

A fluid, full-length kaftan dress crafted from double gauze cotton from Tripoli, Greece. Naturally dyed with madder roots, then bundle dyed using a rich palette of plant and natural extracts—logwood chips, annatto seeds, cochineal, elderberries, acorn cupules, and sticklac—creating layered, painterly markings across the fabric.

The silhouette is loose and breathable, designed to move effortlessly with the body. A soft V-neckline, side pockets, and two high slits add both function and quiet sensuality.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
