Summer Naturally Dyed Linen & Cotton Cushion Cover

A one-of-a-kind cushion cover naturally dyed in our Athens atelier using traditional botanical dyeing techniques.

The front fabric is a soft cotton and linen blend sourced in Athens and bundle dyed by Christiana with pomegranate skins, onion skins, and avocado skins to create organic botanical patterns. The textile is then gently overdyed with madder root, producing warm earthy tones.

The back is made from undyed natural linen woven in Tripoli, Greece.Machine sewn in our Athens studio by Violetta and finished with a simple envelope closure.

Size: Approx. 40 × 40 cm

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
