Natural Dyeing
Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
This naturally dyed cushion features a soft geometric pattern created using the traditional Japanese shibori resist technique.
The fabric is 100% undyed cotton, carefully folded and bound before being dyed with onion skins, a natural dye that produces warm earthy tones ranging from soft beige to golden brown.
After dyeing, the cushion cover was machine sewn by Lambrini in our Athens-based studio and finished with a discreet zipper closure.
• Size: approximately 27 × 40 cm
Please note:
Pillowcase only – filling is not included.
