The silk is undyed and sourced from Soufli, Greece. The textile was naturally dyed by Christiana using acorn cupules, rich in tannins that produce earthy greys and warm stone tones.
The acorns were collected in Mani, Greece by Christiana and friends, connecting the piece directly to the Greek landscape. The dyeing process creates organic patterns that resemble branches, shadows or botanical imprints across the silk.
Silk’s smooth surface is naturally gentle on skin and hair, making this set ideal for restful sleep and daily self-care rituals.
Both pieces are machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
