Natural Dyeing
Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
A one-of-a-kind silk halter dress, naturally dyed using traditional bundle dyeing techniques with plants gathered from nature. Layers of onion skins, ivy leaves, walnut leaves and hibiscus create an earthy palette of olive greens, warm browns and soft botanical markings.
The fluid silhouette features a plunging halter neckline, an open back with adjustable neck ties and a comfortable gathered bodice that drapes beautifully over the body. Lightweight silk makes it perfect for warm summer days or elegant evenings.
