This naturally dyed linen pillowcase is created using botanical dyes and traditional bundle dyeing techniques, resulting in a soft composition of organic colours and textures.

The linen fabric, sourced from Lille, France, is first dyed with acorn cupules, creating a warm natural base tone. It is then bundle dyed using chlorophyll extract, safflower petals, annatto seeds, and turmeric, producing subtle layers of yellow, green, and earthy hues.
Size: Approximately 35 cm x 30 cm

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
