A set of two naturally dyed cotton napkins created in our Athens-based studio using traditional plant dye techniques.

The napkins are made from un-dyed cotton fabric sourced in Athens, Greece. They are first dyed with indigo and then bundle dyed by Christiana using a selection of botanical materials including safflowers, walnut leaves, madder roots and annatto seeds.

The napkins are machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens studio.

Perfect for slow meals, shared moments and bringing natural colour to the table.

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
