This one-of-a-kind blanket is created using traditional natural dyeing and bundle dye techniques, producing soft botanical tones and organic patterns across the fabric.
The textile is made from 100% organic cotton woven in Tripoli, Greece.
The fabric was first naturally dyed with madder roots by Christiana, creating a warm soft base tone. It was then bundle dyed using a selection of botanical materials, including madder roots, annatto seeds, chamomile flowers, mallow roses and peonies.
This piece can be used as a light blanket, sofa throw, meditation textile, baby blanket, picnic cloth or decorative wall hanging.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
