The silk fabric is sourced un-dyed from Soufli, Greece. The textile is naturally dyed with cutch by Christiana, producing warm earthy brown tones characteristic of this tannin-rich plant dye.
The soft silk gently rests on the skin while helping to block light, making it ideal for deeper sleep, travel, or moments of rest.
Two elastic bands at the back allow the mask to comfortably fit different head sizes.
Each mask is machine sewn by Violetta in our Athens-based studio.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
