A naturally dyed patchwork floor cushion cover handmade in our Athens studio.
The top is crafted from undyed silk from Soufli, Greece, naturally dyed with indigo using the shibori technique by Christiana. Each silk panel is unique, creating subtle variations in tone and pattern.
The back and sides are made from undyed linen from Japan, and the patchwork is carefully machine sewn by Maria in our Athens studio.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
