"Speckles" Indigo Shibori & Botanical Bundle Dyed Linen Cushion Cover

€85.00

The fabric is un-dyed linen woven in Tripoli, Greece. It was first dyed with natural indigo using the Japanese shibori resist technique by Christiana, creating deep blue patterns across the textile.

The fabric was then bundle dyed with logwood bark, elderberries, acorn cupules, and hibiscus petals by Katerina. These plants create layered botanical imprints and subtle natural tones that interact with the indigo base.

Machine sewn in our Athens studio by Violetta and finished with a simple envelope closure.

Size: Approx. 45 × 50 cm
Pillowcase only – filling not included.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
