Botanical Bundle Dye Kit — Greek Plant Edition

€60.00

This natural dye kit is designed to help you take your first steps into botanical colour and explore the fundamentals of dyeing with plants. Created as a gentle introduction to bundle dyeing, it invites you to slow down, experiment and discover how colour emerges through natural processes.

Each kit includes an iron pre-mordanted silk scarf and a carefully selected collection of Greek botanical materials. The iron applied to the silk shifts the palette towards deeper, more muted tones — allowing you to create soft, earthy colours.

Using this kit, you will create your own bundle-dyed silk scarf while learning the basics of plant placement, rolling and colour development.

What is included:

— 1 × iron-mordanted 100% silk scarf (140 cm × 25 cm), made in Soufli, Greece
— Onion skins, gathered from farmers’ markets in Athens, Greece — create soft greens
— Madder roots from Evros, Greece — create dusty rose and muted pink tones
— Acorn cupules from Mani, Greece — create greys and smoky neutrals
— Dyer’s chamomile from Mani, Greece — create olive green hues
— Cotton string for binding your bundle

The kit includes a QR code with step-by-step instructions in both Greek and English, along with a video guide to support you through the process.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!
