"Frost" Naturally Dyed Square Linen Pillow

This one-of-a-kind linen pillowcase is crafted in our Athens studio using traditional natural dyeing techniques.

The fabric is undyed linen woven in Tripoli, Greece. The front of the pillowcase was bundle dyed by Christiana using mallow rose petals, hibiscus petals, alkanet roots and elderberries, creating organic botanical imprints.

The back was naturally dyed with acorn cupules, producing a warm earthy tone that complements the botanical pattern on the front.

Each pillowcase is carefully machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio and finished with an envelope closure for a clean, minimal look.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
