A one-of-a-kind silk scarf . Beginning with undyed silk sourced from Soufli, Greece, the scarf was then naturally dyed with madder roots by Christiana and then bundle dyed it with cochineal, madder roots, walnut leaves, hibiscus and peony petals.

The layered process creates an expressive composition of warm peach, soft yellow, pink, plum and earthy botanical marks. Lightweight and generously sized, it can be worn around the neck, draped over the shoulders or styled as a shawl.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
