This silk pillowcase and sleep mask set is naturally dyed using traditional plant-based dyes, creating soft earthy tones and deep botanical markings on the silk.
The silk was undyed and sourced from Soufli, Greece. The pillowcase was naturally dyed by Christiana using cutch bark, producing warm earthy beige tones with subtle natural variations across the silk.
The sleep mask was naturally dyed by Christiana using cutch bark and over-dyed with logwood, creating deeper purple-brown hues and organic tonal variations that highlight the layered natural dye process.
Silk’s smooth surface is naturally gentle on skin and hair, helping reduce friction while offering a soft and comfortable sleep experience.
Both pieces are machine sewn by Violeta in our Athens-based studio, combining natural dye craftsmanship with careful construction.

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
