Botanical Bundle Dye Kit — Tropical Plants Edition

€60.00

This natural dye kit is designed to help you take your first steps into botanical colour and explore the fundamentals of dyeing with plants. Created as a gentle introduction to bundle dyeing, it encourages you to slow down, experiment and discover the vibrant palette that emerges from tropical dye materials.

Each kit includes an alum pre-mordanted silk scarf and a curated selection of botanical dyes sourced from different parts of the world. Alum applied to the silk allows the colours to develop in a brighter, more luminous range — revealing vibrant oranges, purples, fuchsias and soft blue tones.

Using this kit, you will create your own bundle-dyed silk scarf while learning the basics of plant placement, rolling and colour development.

What is included:

— 1 × alum-mordanted 100% silk scarf (140 cm × 25 cm), made in Soufli, Greece
— Annatto seeds from Chiang Mai, Thailand — create warm orange tones
— Logwood chips from Mérida, Mexico — create deep purples
— Cochineal from Lanzarote, Canary Islands — create luminous fuchsia shades
— Hibiscus flowers from Athens, Greece — create purple and blue tones
— Cotton string for binding your bundle

The kit includes a QR code with step-by-step instructions in both Greek and English, along with a video guide to support you through the process.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!
