"Aelia" Bundle Dyed Silk Aromatic Eye Mask filled with Lavender and Flax Seeds

A naturally dyed aromatic silk eye mask created using bundle dyeing.

The silk fabric is un-dyed silk from Soufli, Greece. The fabric has been bundle dyed by Christiana using a selection of plants including hibiscus flowers, elderberries, ivy leaves, and onion skins.

The mask is filled with flax seeds and lavender, creating a gentle weighted effect that supports relaxation and rest. Flax seeds are known for helping soothe the eyes and support dry eye conditions, while lavender provides a calming scent that reduces stress and promotes sleep.

Two elastic bands at the back allow the mask to comfortably fit different head sizes.

Each mask is machine sewn in our Athens-based studio by Violeta.

Bundle Dyeing

Our favourite technique, a contemporary process where we use fresh and dried flowers to create prints on fabric. Each one is unique, and even if we wanted to we can't create the same pattern twice!

Natural Dyeing

Botanical dyeing is a slow process, that can be unpredictable and there are often pleasant colour surprises. It takes several hours to extract the natural pigment from plants, sometimes even days!
